Sonny Boy Terry
THANK YOU HOUSTON!

SONNY BOY TERRY BAND THANKS HOUSTON BLUES SOCIETY AND FANS.

WOW! What more can I say except thank you to the Houston Blues Society, KPFT 90.1, all our fans and supporters, and especially Houston blues lovers for all the incredible support? Winning the Houston regional International Blues Challenge and representing our great city in Memphis for the nationals is an honor of a lifetime. I cannot possibly express my gratitude. The Sonny Boy Terry Band made a strong showing in Memphis and our "street team" from Houston did a fine job of getting the word out and creating a buzz for us.

We hope everyone is pleased with our efforts. We did our very best to take advantage of such a wonderful opportunity and made quite a few valuable contacts while discovering many avenues for success provided by the Blues Foundation. Certainly, we came up short for the grand prize and we congratulate the winner. However were advised by the Blues Foundation right off to not be discouraged. Lots of great acts use the IBCs to launch thier careers but did not win it all. If you have the goods and the desire to make your way the old fashion way, this is still a great opportunity.

The Sonny Boy Terry Band Support Team

The IBCs in Memphis is the best blues music conference in the world. Hopefully, we can participate again in 2011 in some capacity. We couldn't be more appreciative. This was all a tremendous honor. So many people got behind us and we want everyone to know how grateful we are. AGAIN,
 THANKS EVERYONE.

SONNY BOY TERRY, H-BOMB WECK ROCK NORTHWEST OHIO WITH MOTOR CITY'S HUNTER BRUCKS BAND

(PHOTO, left to right; Hunter Brucks, Henry H-Bomb Weck, and Sonny Boy Terry) Houston's Sonny Boy Terry and former Brownsville Station drummer and platinum record producer (Blackfoot Strikes) Henry H-Bomb Weck came back to the farm amd factory town of Van Wert, Ohio to perform at the place they grew up playing little league, getting into mischief and even learning how to play rock and roll. H-Bomb Weck and Sonny Boy joined Weck's ol' Motor City friends, The Hunter Brucks Band on stage when he opened for classic rock hitmakers The Edgar Winter Group, Weck and Sonny Boy Terry didn't dissapoint with three high energy classic rock numbers including Smokin' in the Boys Room, Barefootin' and Train Train as the hometown folks cheered on the boys. Completely unrehearsed, H-Bomb, Hunter Brucks Band and Sonny Boy Terry rocked mightily to entertain family, friends and music lovers in a region that has been hit hard by the economy witha 16% unemployment rate. Great video footage forthcoming.
